Plasma 6.4 session restore

I've just updated to Plasma 6.4 from the Fedora repo as I was keen to check out the new session restore feature I've been waiting for. I logged in, set up my various desktops and windows, hit Save Session, logged out and in again. As far as I can see there has been no improvement over 6.3. Am I missing something? poc

Kf5 dependencies.

kinfocenter question

Starting kinfocenter in a window gives the messages ~# kinfocenter kf.kirigami.platform: Failed to find a Kirigami platform plugin for style "Fusion" qt.svg.draw: The requested buffer size is too big, ignoring qt.svg.draw: The requested buffer size is too big, ignoring This leads to two questions What does the reference to kf.kirigami.platform mean? There should be plenty of room for buffers with 32G memory and 2T drive space.

List server mis-configured?

I noticed recently that each time I send an email to the kde(a)lists.fedoraproject.org mailing list I get up to three failed DMARC reports from other email servers. The list is sending email "from" me with the source address: Source-IP: 38.145.60.11 (bastion-iad01.fedoraproject.org) Which, of course, does not match up with my email server's IP address, so SPF fails, It also appears that DKIM signature also does not match. I've had my server's DNS set up to request DMARK failure reports for a few years and haven't seen any reports lately except via this list. So I am wondering if something is mis-configured on this list server. Emmett

install nerd fonts on fedora KDE ?

Hi, Have we any good way to install nerd fonts on kde ? or better than manual way [1] ? I'm moving to lazyvim and wasn't easy find and install nerd fonts to correct the icons ... Fedora hangs on screenlocker_greeter

Hello Fedoras I'm geting tired of my upgrade to F42, as my F41 ran completely stable. At least once a day I run into a system hang - it hangs completely and only power down can bring one further. I find lines like these in jounralctl: jul 16 11:45:04 slimbook.ingnet.dk kscreenlocker_greet[38103]: qml: The backend got an unknown wallpaper provider type. The wallpaper will now fall back to the default. Please check your wallpaper configuration! -- Boot 7418677328bc4154bc6a7eb2081d8de2 -- I've tried to boot in x11, but it seems as if the problem remains. How do I downgrade to F41? Or are there any known fixes for the problem? Are the notifications stored somewhere?

I'm getting a notification popping up quite regularly and then immediately disappearing and not showing in the "unread notifications" list. So if they're stored somewhere then I can say what the notification is for, because it appears and disappears too infrequently and quickly for me to read it, but it is annoying popping up then disappearing. Not only the file does not exists but that directory is also absent. /usr/share/maliit/keyboard2/sounds/key_tick2_quiet.wav This is mildly annoying because this crash occurs frequently. F42 KDE remix using Kiwi-ng: Anaconda fails with rsync error

Hello, I'm facing an issue with my F42 KDE Remix [1]. Maybe this is not the best place to post it, but you could help me to address the issue. When I try to install the live image in a KVM virtual machine, I get the following error message (see also attachment): Failed to install image: process '['rsync', '-pogAXtlHrDx', '--stats', '--info=flist2,name,progress2', '--no-inc-recursive', '--exclude', '/dev/', '--exclude', '/proc/', '--exclude', '/tmp/*', '--exclude', '/sys/', '--exclude', '/run/', '--exclude', '/boot/*rescue*', '--exclude', '/boot/loader/', '--exclude', '/boot/efi/', '--exclude', '/etc/machine-id', '--exclude', '/etc/machine-info', '/run/install/sources/mount-0000-live_os_image/', '/mnt/sysroot']' exited with status 23 Is anyone facing a similar problem?
