I've been able to isolate what causes the problem. The first time I use
keepass2 to login to something, from that point on the Windows key no
longer brings up the KDE menu. Just starting keepass2 does not cause the
problem - it has to be used.
Any suggestions on settings I might be able to tweak to work-around this?
Or should I raise a bugzilla?
For the benefit of anyone else that encounters this....
I switched from keepass2 to keepassx. keepassx does not have the same
problem.
