Are you using the rpmfusion nvidia driver rpms?
You need to make sure the nouveau module is blacklisted. I believe the
rpmfusion nvidia driver packages install '/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-
nouveau.conf' which does just that, but if your initrd image is already built
prior to that, it'll already contain the nouveau module, so you need to
manually rebuild initrd for your current kernel.
