I did a fresh install with kde4 - and I want to copy the networkmanager
applet connections from another laptop - can someone tell me which files
to copy from old to new laptop so it has the same already working
wireless and wired networks setup?
thanks.
I looked in ~/.kde/share/apps/networkmanagement
which has:
(I don't have a ~/.kde4 directory)
/connections - empty directory
/secrets - has uuid like file names each with psk=<passwords>
but i cannot find the list of connections - even tho I found the
passphrases
The actual connections should be stored as
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-*
The uuid names in the secrets folder you found should match up with
the uuid in each of the ifcfg-* files.
