I gotta question

Does anybody know what the alsa-pulseaudio-plugin is actually good for other than breaking the alsa / phonon releationship to the point where after removing alsa-pulseaudio-plugin and uninstalling / reinstalling all of alsa to get sound working properly in KDE?
