Its been running great, however yesterday I upgraded the kernel from:

  to:

Now if I boot into the latest kernel my external monitor is no longer

Thoughts on how to debug?
Not really, but it would probably be useful to state your video driver
(AMD, Nvidia proprietary, Intel, Nvidia free etc.) and display server
(X11, Wayland), e.g. for me:
