I admit the time argument is a lil exaggerated, but what isn't in the era of fake
pandemic figures.
Then again, plymouth defeats its' own purpose:
it promises a clean boot screen , then garbles it with gimmicky effects and stuff.
disable plymouth and enjoy a clean black surface - well a cursor may remain blinking...
