I am always using KDE although I have gnome installed and I have also
6 virtual desktop but I display the same desktop in all of them. I am
not logging out and quickly in again...
When you asked this same question on the Fedora list I suggested you try
setting Restore Manually Save Session in your Session Management
configuration, save a session via the Leave menu, and see what happens.
Have you tried that?
