Now appearing in kde-redhat repo is libssh-0.4.0-1.fc12.x86_64.
Can I have both libssh and libssh2 installed? What program uses this new libssh that I have not heretofore had installed on my system (I have only had libssh2 installed)?
Will it affect sshd, scp or sftp or ksshaskpass?

The sftp:// kioslave in KDE SC 4.4 is a rewrite that uses libssh rather than calling scp, i.e. the libra- ry was added to the repository as a dependency.

libssh2 and libssh are 2 completely different implementations of the SSH protocol.
