Is KOffice2 still around on any repo? I installed it, warts and all, on the
netbook, but I'd like to put it onto this laptop, making work on documentation
a good deal easier. Thanks

kde-redhat/unstable (still).
Hmm - it's still enabled. 'yum search' didn't come up with
anything with
koffice2 in it - so are all the koffice-whatsit applications actually
koffice2?

Yes. (the koffice v2 builds in unstable should upgrade any existing
koffice v1 )
yum install koffice-suite
for everything,
yum install koffice-kword
...
for bits-n-pieces.

Brilliant! Thanks. I don't know whether there's any way of getting more
information, such as you get with 'rpm -qi' for packages not yet installed.
If I'd known how to do that I'd have checked it out before asking ;-)
