Review Request for kde-plasma-daisy

Hi,

I just put up a review for a new plasmoid called "daisy". You'll find

This is my first package I try to contribute to fedora, so it looks like
I'll need someone who is able to sponsor me.

Additionally I have a question. Normally I was setting up as
requirements the following packages:

BuildRequires:  kde-filesystem >= 4
BuildRequires:  kdelibs4-devel >= 4.2
BuildRequires:  kdebase-workspace-devel >= 4.2
BuildRequires:  cmake

%{?_kde4_macros_api:Requires: kde4-macros(api) = %{_kde4_macros_api} }
Requires: kdelibs4 >= 4.2

However, I noticed that most plasmoids in cvs just contains:
BuildRequires:  kdebase-workspace-devel >= 4.2.0

Basically this would be fine for me and I can build (s)rpms without any
problem. However, if I try to check it using "mock -r fedora-11-i386" I
am getting this error message:

Old dependencies seems to running fine. Any idea, what's causing the
problem or did I simply misunderstood the cvs specs? Thanks in adivse.

Hmmm, an OS-X-style dock (though it defaults to a circle rather than a
rectangular dock), that might get us into patent trouble. :-(

Not saying just because other OS-X like packages made it into fedora
this should but this package doesnt seem to mention OS-X anywhere and
there are already at least 3 other packages already present of which
at least 2 specifically mention a likeness to the OS-X dock in their
descriptions. The 3 i spotted so far are:

cairo-dock
kooldock
avant-window-navigator

Of course why anyone would want to imitate OS-X in the first place is
another matter entirely.

Those both got removed for being OS X dock clones. cairo-dock is now in RPM
Fusion, kooldock was EOLed entirely because it's KDE 3.

This is some kind of bad joke? A circular launch dock might bring fedora
in patent trouble, because you can make it appear as rectangle? As far
as I understand the apple patent it's main focus is on the magnification
function. I am not really familiar with MacOSX, but I does have its dock
quite different in mind. So what does this actually mean for my request?

I actually only want to see how "easy" it would be to contribute and
choosed it, because its a nice fancy plasmoid that seems to be quite
popular. If this will lead into a legal process, I would rather tend to
test with another package how much bureacracy it is to commit a small
package to fedora... ;)

While I personally doubt there are any legal issues here to really worry 
about, it may well be a good idea to pursue submitting something else 
instead at this point.

(continuing to pursue -daisy submission now or even later is always an 
option too)
