On F11, there was an update to a new upstream version of PackageKit today -- 0.4.8-1, and now kpackagekit crashes on start. Before I put this in bugzilla, I just wanted to check whether a new kpackagekit was in the pipeline or not. I didn't see anything in the updates system ...

Damn, crash confirmed. This pk update was supposed to fix a pk + yum-presto crasher.

FWIW I can confirm this, rolling back to:
PackageKit-0.4.6-8.fc11.i586 etc
All is working again. I think 0.4.8-1 was from updates testing.
