persistent and undesired F16ß task bar application launchers

In Fedora 16, I have noticed for a number of weeks now that whenever Ilog 
in, there are launchers on the task bar for konqueror and dolphin. I have 
tried repeated to get rid of them, but every time I log back in, they are 
there again.

How can I get rid of them once and for all?

Same here (Fedora 15 + KDE 4.7.1).

I was able to remove this launchers by editing
$HOME/.kde/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc and removing the relevant
lines in the configuration of the "tasks" plugin, but clearly this is only a
dirty workaround.

This is known bug.

But still no fix only workaround mention there available.

It says to remove the task manager applet and add a new one. I will try this 
later. Thanks.

Looks like this bug fixed in KDE 4.7.2.
(I tested 4.7.2 in Rawhide).
