I just updated my F24 box and there were apparently a bunch of KDE related updates. (Not sure which, exactly.) When I rebooted (because bloody plasmashell was taking 80% CPU, again) the interface is all jacked up.
For example, what's with the little button next to the program icon in the upper left hand corner? It appears to do absolutely nothing when I click it.
Also, why does the text in the title bar of a window (like Chrome) that's not in focus looked all greyed out and illegible?
Is there any way to change the settings back to something that doesn't suck?

I got the same issue. It seems the Windows Decoration Theme was changed to Plastik. I have changed it back to Breeze, and the look and feel was restored.
Yeah, it took me a bit to find that part out. Is it just me, or does that theme really suck?

As far as window decoration goes, yes, the default was inadvertently set to plastique (instead of breeze) in the 5.7.1 update, and will be fixed in kwin-5.7.2-2 , see my comment elsewhere on the topic: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kde@lists.fedoraproject.org/th...
