Random freezes under F23

I've had a couple of random desktop freezes in F23 under Plasma, both
of them while using Chrome. I have an Nvidia card with Nouveau.

Anyone else seeing this? How about with the Nvidia drivers?

freezes with KDE5 - teel us something new.....

Had this happen for no apparent reason on couple occasions as well. Once that I remember I just 
opened dropdown menu in Konsole.

Old Radeon HD 4670 here with open source drivers.

Not good...

I had one or two freezes back when ß was first 
released, none since then. I use firefox and I think 
it happened when a flash was loading. In any case, no 
more.

I just installed Chrome for the first time in my life 
about 4 days ago and I have used it a few times every 
day since then. There have been no freezes.

I am using a downgraded Xorg 1.17 with manually installed prop. NVIDIA
driver. No issue observed so far. I had quite some issues before the
downgrade when attempting to get the Nouveau running as KDE was freezing
the system during the load screen. I assumed some driver issues there.
My best guess would be to switch the Composite a bit... did you try
using OpenGL 2.0 instead of OpenGL 3.2 or Xrender and checking if the
freezes are gone? If prop. driver are an option, give it a try.

I'll consider downgrading and using the proprietary driver if that's
the quickest solution. Don't really feel like doing regression testing
on all the possible variables.

Ahhh....I see I'm not the only one that is getting *extremely* 
frustrated by this one [0], but the upstream ticket [1] has identified a 
patch to fix it[2], due with kernel 4.3 I believe.
