Hi,
Did anyone managed to run the latest Fedora 16 Beta in virt-manager? For me desktop-plasma is crashing after I've logged in. This does not happen when I run it from an usb-stick. The desktop spin runs fine in a vm.
Do I have a problem with a kde-component (kdebase-workspace/desktop-plasma) or is it an issue with qemu-kvm/virt-manager?
Thanks,
Martin Kho

Fedora 15 as the base?
Thanks,

What graphics driver do you use? If qxl, try the other drivers. It can be this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731245

Hi Radek,
Thanks for your hint, but I'm using the default (cirrus) graphics driver.

Comment 6 and 9 says it happens with cirrus as well.

vmvga should work, we are still waiting for response from drivers side...

Hi Patrick,
Yes, I just saw it, thanks. @your question: both F15 and F16. I'm trying to capture the error-messages. In F16 as base I see:
1. Abrt: process /usr/bin/kdeinit4 was killed by signal 11 2. in .xsession-errors a lot of: plasma-desktop(xxxxx): ""geometry" - conversion of "58,2,0,0" to QRectF failed"
