Hi
I'd like to remove the sleep and hibernate buttons from the kickoff Leave screen to prevent systems being shut down inadvertently by clicking on the wrong item.
I tried the recommendation here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-general-1/disable-suspendsleep...
about changing /usr/bin/pm-is-supported but that doesnt seem to remove the buttons for kde 4.4.0
Anyone know how I can remove those sleep/hibernate buttons.
Thanks
Roderick

Not the foggiest idea. Maybe try to disenable 'offer logout options' in system settings/session manager?
Thanks for the idea, but unfortunately that only seems to handle the shutdown and reboot options, if you mean 'offer shutdown options'

ok, for the record...
It does remove the sleep and hibernate buttons in kde 4.4.0. They disappeared after I logged out more than once and rebooted. Not sure what it was that was actually required to made them go.
