Hi..
Ever since I installed Fedora 16, I've noticed that Okular doesn't scroll down when Space bar is pressed. Page-Down works fine. So do Page-Up and Backspace.
I filed a bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=287753
But a developer says he can't reproduce it. Can anyone please check if this is working on F16?
regards,
Syam

What keyboard layout/locale do you use? Can you reproduce it with a US kayboard layout?

I'm using a US keyboard layout.
Just noticed something. Somebody pointed it out in the bug report. I have Qt 4.8 installed! yum shows that it came from Anaconda (qt-4.8.0-0.23.rc1.fc16.i686). Why are we having a pre-release version of Qt included in the stable repos?
I started my PC today and KDE components are crashing all over the place. KDMInit, KDE Daemon, KNotify, Akregator etc.
Logging out and getting back in does not seem to help. I'll see if I can restart the PC and fix this.

Fedora always has been bleeding edge, and for more packages than just QT. For instance:
[root@bartl ~]# rpm -q NetworkManager NetworkManager-0.9.1.90-5.git20110927.fc16.x86_64
I started my PC today and KDE components are crashing all over the place. KDMInit, KDE Daemon, KNotify, Akregator etc.

Because when we had to make the decision what Qt to ship in Fedora 16, we didn't know that Qt 4.8 would take so long to become stable. Nokia still doesn't publish any schedules. :-(

Okay.. I'm also happy with Fedora having the latest and greatest :-) I was asking only because somebody pointed it out when I filed the bug report. Also, I'm having severe crashes, which now seems to be a problem with glibc/nvidia driver.
But, to be back to the original topic, Okular still doesn't scroll down on space bar. Do you think this can be related to the nvidia problem? It seems to unlikely.
Thanks,

I see the same problem on one f16 machine, other computer (f16 too) works fine. Not affected by layout changes.
