I have 2 NFS mounted file systems that show up in Device Notifier with the option to open with file manager. This on an F16 system.
Is there a way to disable these showing in the Notifier?

In Device Notifier Settings is "All Devices" checked or "Removable Devices Only" ?

I have the same problem. The notifier is set to show removable devices only. Main problem is, that these NFS mounts are shown in dolphin sidebar as well (They are show twice, once as NFS share and as mounted file). A klick to one of these always bring up an error. Additionally I get an unmount error on the server for a not exported "/" NFS share.
In the notifier I have set all NFS shares to hidden.

It is set to "Removable Devices Only".

Same here. It's a PITA.
Yes, a big PITA.

Is this only since F16? My nfs shares are mounted at boot, don't show up in notifier, and only appear once in Dolphin/Places - but this is F15.

I suspect it's new(ish), since kdelibs-4.7.3-5.fc16 landed, see https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2011-16151/kdelibs-4.7.3-5.fc... https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=751879

A bit late here in Taiwan....so I'm slow on the uptake....
I have kdelibs-common-4.7.3-5.fc16.i686 installed. So, are we saying that this has broken things? Should a new bugzilla be written.

Yes please.
The Solid fstab backend needs to mark its stuff as not removable, at least the things without noauto and/or user options (i.e. the stuff mounted systemwide on boot).

Yes..... This is only since F16. I was at F15 until my disk died on Saturday. :-( At F15 all was fine, IMHO.

Yes, only since F16. My NFS shares are also mounted at boot and didn't used to show up in the Notifier. Now they do.
