Hi
I hope this list can help me with an annoying problem.
I recently changed my monitor on my stationary laptop to an other model.
Since the change I have to configure the monitor settings in the control
panel every time I boot. It forgets that the monitor shall be the
primary display and it also forgets the screen resolution for the monitor.
Which are the configuration files that KDE keeps this information?
And why does it forget my settings?
I'm running Fedora 30 on my Lenovo X201 laptop, which as written above
is stationary, because the power button does not function any more, so
only the power button on the docking station can power it up.
The monitor is a ThinkVision connected to the docking station through a
DVI to HDMI adapter.
