Vim copy to system clipboard not working

People,

I just switched to KDE from XFCE on F34 so I could start using Wayland but I find the
problem in the Subject . . in Vim I used to be able to copy to the System Clipboard with:

  "+5Y

to copy five lines eg - now that doesn't work - is this a KDE or Wayland or Plasma
problem? - is there an easy fix?
