Same here.
How about Video HW and driver?
I have a laptop with nVidia HW but using the nouveau drivers due to age. It is OK. So,
I wonder
if there could be a interaction with the binary nVidia and the latest kernel.
I'm using the i915 IGP at the moment. I have an Nvidia card but it's
blacklisted so I can use it for passthrough. Reconfiguring to use the
Nvidia for the desktop is a multi-step process which I've done recently
(as you'll remember from the Fedora Users List) but I've since gone
back to my more usual system. If you don't get anywhere with this I'd
be willing to do it again as a test, but in any case I've only ever
used the Nvidia proprietary driver so I'd suggest you try that first.
