Hi,
FYI, KDE 4.2.3 is now queued for the stable updates for F9, F10 and F11 (both the core 4.2.3 packages and the extragear ones). You can queue the kde-plasma-stasks and kde-plasma-yawp builds for stable now. Expect 4.2.3 to hit the stable updates in the next updates push.
(Qt 4.5.1 still has issues we're looking into, so it will stay in testing for some more time, but that one didn't get or need a buildroot override, so that's not a problem for dependent packages.)

Any bugs expected to be fix that we should help testing out with? I was semi-promised a fix to Kickoff to allow listing by program name, so I'm looking forward to that.

The classic menu already does that in 4.2.2 (it sorts by program name if you're displaying it first), for the fancy one ("Kickoff menu style"), I don't think it's implemented in 4.2.3 (I haven't tested though) because it's an extra option and thus an extra string.
