kwayland config files?

After updating to f29, I once again tried plasma on wayland.  It seemed to 
work very poorly, but as a test I tried logging in as a test user.  This 
seemed much better!  So I'm wondering what old files I need to clean out.  
It seems the poor kwayland experience on my normal user account must be due 
to some old config files.  Where are they?
