drivers/net/e100.c, Linux kernel 2.6.23, with Large
Send Support(TCP Segmentation Offload), adaptor: Intel

I wonder if you know such driver exist and where to
obtain its source code.

install System.map in kernel-devel

The systemtap folks are interested in having System.map installed by
kernel-devel, not just by the kernel rpm itself. This makes it possible to
do more preparations off-line for a kernel other than an installed one.
Without objection, I'll check this in on all branches.

If CONFIG_PHYSICAL_START is equal to or less than CONFIG_PHYSICAL_ALIGN
then all is well.

Building a kernel "--without debuginfo" is kind of broken

I got a 160MB kernel package and discovered that the kernel and
modules contained debug info. This seems to fix it, does anyone
see a problem with it?

Vacation

As per http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Vacation I'm away for a little under a
month from tomorrow, pretty much out of contact. I have been through most of
the Fedora 7 kernel bugs and will resume these duties on my return. I hope I
have been of some help but for now, Australia awaits!

F8 branched.

CVS has now been branched. For stuff going into F-8, make sure it gets
committed to the F-8/ branch. devel/ will move on towards tracking 2.6.24 soon.
I'll commit something to devel/ today to make this clear and reduce opportunity
for screwups, but I'm not going to spend a huge amount of time fixing it
up/tracking -git just yet, whilst we still have opportunity to make F-8
suck less. http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/8/Schedule shows that
we have until the 17th as the absolute latest to get fixes in.
Typically I like to take the day prior to the freeze as the 'last patch day',
to give a day of breathing room for any last minute screwups,
(given that rawhide on the 17th will be the build from the 16th).
[There's nearly always something that needs a last minute change, but
lets not rely on the fact that there'll be a build on the 17th]
So if you're sitting on anything for F-8, please have it merged up by Tuesday.
