I think it's easier (for my goals) to edit pkg_release to recreate
buildid's purpose. But, either way, that's not too much of an hassle as
I have to edit kernel.spec anyway whenever I create a local branch.
That works as well. The point is to start removing some clutter from
the kernel spec file, and this is somewhat low hanging fruit. I would
simply rename "baserelease" to "buildid", but the rpmdev tools know
about baserelease and we use those quite frequently.
