But didn't commit 2285fc55b544 ("Drop i686-PAE configuration generation") make these files pointless (in master, that is) as of two months ago?
Yeah, I already did some removal during 4.19. Since Fedora 27 has one foot in the grave and likely won't get rebased to 4.19 let alone 4.20 it seems fine to me.
