Will associating the word "regression" with this issue make it more

The CPU is i7-2620M with Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000. The issue do not
happen with integrated LCD connected to LVDS1, but when the lid is
closed and two external monitors are connected. One to HDMI3 and other
to VGA1. The monitor on HDMI3 is an Acer PB278Q 27" 16:9 2560 x 1440,
which only works at full resolution with a xrandr hack that reduce the
refresh rate to 38 Hz.
