We generally prefer not to bring in patches for testing in rawhide.
It's easy to bring a patch in but much harder to drop one.

Here's a scratch build that should have the patch.
I'm testing that now and will report back in the upstream bug. If the
second patch they proposed gets built into a scratch build, I'll test
it also. Otherwise I'll put it in my own queue once I get this Rawhide
test system unconfused.
