I've not seen any negative GPU impacts yet either. Though it was hit and miss for me before, so take that with a large block of salt.

3.8.0-0.rc4.git4.1.fc19.x86_64 booted seems reasonably responsive so far.
No massive slowdowns.

I am seeing reasonable speeds for yum 3.8.0-0.rc4.git4.1.fc19. (Something also changed with my rawhide system and yum is running much better there now. This wasn't due to the kernel, but will make noticing regressions easier.)
