BTW: I noticed that the CI acts up one way or another for basically each merge request I submit. Is that just my status as "external contributor" and/or "bad luck", or is there anything I can do to smoothen the process for everyone involved?

I think it was just "bad luck" of too many things colliding. Pipelines we giving trouble to everyone.
