Last release(1.36) was pretty big and maybe we have the time for
dropping python2 support from the rest of the components [1] now (1.37
or 1.38). It needn't to be complete cleanup in first pass, but we
could stop being backward compatible. The idea is to create separate
py2 branch which would receive important security updates (similarly
to [2] for py2.4 we have).
Basically this is a call for people still relying on any of the py2
components to speak up. Ideal place for that is forge issue [3].
