you are right Pete about nonsense of setting ALPS with Synaptics driver...<br>But the thing is that other distros i&#39;ve used (ubuntu, Mandriva, OpenSuse) <br>on this computer were seeing it like that... and I was able to configure this touchpad <br>
via synaptics drivers or utilities...<br><br>Anyway, tpconfig looks like an avenue i havent tried. But i&#39;m not familiar with it..<br>how do i use it... and install it? It doesnt look like its on my computer and i cant<br>
