I was waiting on RH Legal here, but I think it is safe for me to say that clause 5b makes it non-free.

I expected as much. This is a old but still quite popular library used in several universities that have a introductory course to programming using Java. If you are interested, please do get in touch with them and they might be amenable to a change in the license
