However, just to play it safe, I would like to reconfirm that we are indeed allowed to package Lucida in Fedora, in case anything have changed.

Assuming the Lucida fonts are still licensed under the same text as found here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Licensing/Lucida
If so, then there should not be any issue with packaging Lucida in Fedora.
Just make sure you're not duplicating bitmap-lucida-typewriter-fonts.
