A little word about the previous patches:
I have re-based the Revisor cloned livecd-tools code base, and
re-applied the changes we have made in order to get Revisor to do what
it does. Since it's bad to derive from upstream code, I'm sending the
changes I make to the list. I'll keep doing so every time Revisor
re-bases, which happens every release or so.
The patches sent to the list are all cumulative. The full cumulative
patch is attached to this message.

I'd like to know how I can know the free memory left to allow a software
generate a file at var directory. As far as I tested, free command did not
to seem to show the exact number of free memory size even if I created and
deleted a file. Although I get enough free once I reboot the livecd, I'd
like to turn on the system permanently and the free size seems to fluctuate
so I'm not sure how much memory I could use to generate a file.
