I just installed fedora 9 over the weekend (and again this morning had some issues with
it).
I am hoping hte issues I ran into yesterday were causing hte problems. I suspected the
burning process originally since when I tried ot burn a dvd on my dvdrw drive wodim said
it couldn't handle it at all.
I'll try the base kickstart again tonight or tomorrow and see what happens now.

Errors there tend to indicate either
1) Burn problems
2) Problems in the created initrd. The latter could be that you're
using a distro which doesn't have the right mkinitrd bits or some other
mismatch. It's hard to say without knowing what the actual errors are
