Hi All,
Help!
I got stung twice this week by not being able to boot my Xfce Fedora 21 Live USB in an Apple machine. I take it there is more than putting it into a USB slot. Can't figure out if there is even a bios to configure boot order on an Apple!
I really, really need to know how to do this.

Found this: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-boot-a-linux-live-usb-stick-on-your-mac/
But it requires a MAC to run and the sticks work run in PC's afterwards. AAAAAHHHHHHH !!!!!

You need to provide more detail. How did you create the usb stick? Our iso's are all hybridiso so simply using dd to write them will make them bootable on BIOS and UEFI. If you're using livecd-iso-to-disk you need to include the --efi flag when making the USB.
You can select the device to boot on the Mac by holding down the option key while booting.
