Hi,
I have such a trivial problem that I'm almost, but not quite, sure it's
me doing something wrong.
I'm using Fedora 13 with all updates as of today, SELinux is disabled,
and I have installed livecd-tools 034-10 (built from the fc14.src.rpm).
I spin a live CD (using the directions in
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_create_and_use_a_Live_CD) and put
it on a 4GB USB stick with the command:
livecd-iso-to-disk --reset-mbr --format \
--overlay-size-mb 1000 \
Fedora-13-i686-Live-20100924.iso /dev/sdk1
After a while this completes, and I try to boot the newly created medium
using QEMU or VirtualBox.
When the boot is completed, the automatic login screen is shown. When I
press the button (or wait until the times expires) the screen disappears
and the automatic login screen is redisplayed.
After experimenting with single-user non-quiet boots it turns out that
the resultant system has SELinux enabled in enforcing mode but the files
are labeled incorrectly as file_t. Disabling SELinux on the LiveCD makes
it possible to boot and login normally.
Could this be caused by my setup (with SELinux disabled)?
Thanks for your time and patience,
