Hi Jeremy,
I got the same error message while using livecd-creator to create a live cd on fc7. I
wonder if this issue has been fixed in fc7? llivecd-creator works fine in fc8.
Regards,
Jie

Running livecd-creator, I get the following error message:

Done; initramfs is 4,3M.
Should I use an older kernel while building the livecd?
No, the messages are misleading... I thought I had killed them off, but
apparently not. Patches accepted or I'll get there eventually :-)

I'm trying to use it on F-8 but getting:
Error creating Live CD : Failed to find package 'gv' : No package(s)
available to install
Is there any reason to expect that it wouldn't work with the yum in F-8?
Nothing I know of, but I also haven't had a chance to try it out on F8.
Are you running on an Fedora 8 host or building a Fedora 8 image? That
looks like a config just specifying a package which isn't there and so
it (correctly) failing
