Package installation on pt4.fp.o
by Paul W. Frields
I installed the following packages from epel-test repo onto
publictest4:
drupal6-advanced-help.noarch 0:1.2-2.el5
drupal6-auto_nodetitle.noarch 0:1.2-4.el5
drupal6-ctools.noarch 0:1.8-4.el5
drupal6-flexifilter.noarch 0:1.2-2.el5
drupal6-footnotes.noarch 0:2.5-1.el5
drupal6-rules.noarch 0:1.4-3.el5
I can't install the drupal6-views_bulk_operations package until
drupal6-views is available. That's Jon Ciesla's package, as seen in
this bug:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=646610
We actually need CCK as well, which is this bug:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=646611
Note that publictest4 is on EL-5 right now. I'm hoping that we'll be
able to move to EL-6 at some point. The state of these packages is
the same on EL-5 and EL-6, though -- so we need to work through this
issue one way or the other.
Jon, Volker -- how should we proceed here?

Other Insight dependencies
by Paul W. Frields
As we discussed earlier, we also have a dependency on EL-6. We need
a newer PHP for Job_scheduler and Feeds modules, which EL-6 carries.
(You can actually get php53 on EL-5, but the problem is that the
'drupal6' package is built against a requirement of 'php' and so you
can't just swap this in.
Smooge, you were doing a puppet definition for this box, so we'd be
able to move to EL-6 more easily, IIRC. I know you're on the way to
FUDCon Tempe right now. Can we get you to hack on that on Sunday?
That way, we could make our milestone for Sunday a completely
"duplicatable" (is that a word?) system on EL-6, including all
customizations done by me, asrob, and everyone else documented and
installable -- with the exception of remaining modules under review,
of which there are only a couple at this pont.

First look thoughts at Peter's sandbox
by Andrea Veri
here's a few comments after checking and viewing peter's sandbox:
1. the Fedora header is a bit too huge and therefore it creates problems
to the second header (the one with fedora insight title)
2. I don't really like the second header, I think we can make something
better.
3. is that normal that primary/secondary links are put above the second
header's title? I guess we'll have to handle blocks and menus better.( also
to avoid problems in displaying the user logged into the website. e.g my
username went onto the header)
4. the login form takes too much space, it should be reduced somehow and
get replaced by something an user might really need. (the login form should
be smaller and should be integrated better into the layout of the frontpage)
5. we should also include the contacts page with details about the team
and how contributors can contact us.
6. I did not find any issue for now, hope it will be the same when more modules
will be enabled.
Anyway these are my first thoughts after a fast check out of the test istance
hosted by Peter. We'll discuss more at the meeting tomorrow.

Self Presentation
by Andrea Veri
Hi,
I was having a talk with 'smooge' on #fedora-admin about my interest to join the sysadmin
team and he told me that the Insight Team is looking for help on its infrastructure.
He gave me Paul Frields's mail and he told me to contact him since I was interested in
the position. I am therefore here to present myself to the list, here are some pointers:
- I've been working on the Ubuntu-it website for around two years.
I am really happy to have joined back a great community like Fedora is.
Thanks in advance and have a great day,
Andrea

Where to begin
by Andrea Veri
Hi,
here a few questions about where to start contributing:
1. Which kind of duties or area of involvement should I take care of?
2. Which kind of accesses in FAS should I have to help out the team taking care
of drupal and aything else related to it? (as a note my FAS account name is: 'averi')
3. Which kind of work is needed and where? (e.g which kind of improvements
do we want and where? and what's the situation at the moment.)
Thanks in advance to anyone who will answer and happy hacking,
Andrea
