Replying on the Magazine mailing list - the Marketing mailing list is no
longer used for the Fedora Magazine (this is still a fairly recent
change). :)
I just went through and fixed all three things. It should be all set
now. Thanks for sending these corrections in!

Hi all,
I was chatting with someone about articles on opensource.com earlier today, and he reminded me that that blog's team sends out a monthly email to a listserv of existing authors, that contains some ideas for potential blogs.
Seems to me that this might be useful for the Magazine's past authors to (a) inspire them to keep writing, and (b) give them an idea of what would create good content.
What do others think? There may be some authors for that blog reading this, so feel free to share your reaction to the idea "in the real world".
Cheers,
Michael
I can't attend this week's Magazine meeting, although I'm happy to
accept action items to help with editing, illustrating, and publishing
next week. So we need someone to chair the meeting, which is on
Thursday 2016-Sep-15 at 5:00pm EDT, 2100 UTC. Any takers?

Hi,
I made another pitch.
https://fedoramagazine.org/?p=14442&preview_id=14442
@Paul, well I asked the organizers for the highlights they have the answer
was ¨Yes tell me¨ :D I think they will know it barcampstylish last moment
just a week before. For our side we would have to wait until call ends and
we have selected the papers, in 4 weeks to get speakers in.
Think thats the better way, if somebody might get interested in the region,
he can book his travel that way.
I am unhappy with the feature pic, maybe Ryan comes up with something better
good evening then

Hi Pam, and welcome! Since you're looking at getting more involved with
the Magazine, I'm moving this discussion over to the Fedora Magazine
mailing list, magazine(a)lists.fedoraproject.org, instead of the general
Marketing list. :)
Welcome aboard! By the sounds of it, there's a large handful of ideas
and topics you could write about for the Magazine, both on the
development and more graphical side! The way it works now, you should
have access to add draft posts to the Magazine just by signing in with
your FAS account. If this is not the case, please let us know! You can
try signing in by navigating to the following page:
https://fedoramagazine.org/wp-admin/
One potential idea, it would be awesome to see some sort of post on "top
5 tips for open source photographers" or something along those lines! We
did run a very small pointer post once to someone else's blog…
https://fedoramagazine.org/open-source-photography-workflow-tips/
…but it would be cool to see some top recommended tips for Fedora users
specifically with regards to open source photography. I'm sure you have
some ideas of your own too! Feel free to get started by writing a pitch
for your article. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us here on
the Magazine list and we'll be happy to help!
Again, welcome aboard! :)
