I recently worked with Fedora Legal and the people at hosting/cloud company Vultr https://www.vultr.com/ to make sure their Fedora offering meets our trademark guidelines. Good news is that it does now! I love to see Fedora offered to users in this way. We've previously done articles about Fedora in Digital Ocean and I'd like to do a similar one for Vultr. Any takers?
Key information:
- Link to https://www.vultr.com/servers/fedora - SSD-backed servers in 15 locations worldwide - The installation image is based upon Fedora 26 Server Edition. - In order to maintain consistency with other Vultr images, the default login and SSH key location will be for the root user. - The firewalld service is enabled to secure new instances. Its default configuration will allow incoming SSH connections and ports will need to be opened for other listening services. - You can also upload custom ISOs if you want to use a different Fedora spin or create your own
Also, they are willing to provide complementary access to a writer so you can try it out and write from experience rather than just ad copy. (Contact me for details.)
Anyone interested?
Just so others see it because Im apparently incompetent with gmail on my phone and accidentally only replied to Matt instead of the mailing list. I'd love to tackle this project as I use vultr as my primary hosting service!

Speaking as one of the editors, I'd love to see this. Zach, I think we can approve this as a pitch at tonight's editorial meeting -- you should be OK to start drafting, because my gut instinct is that Ryan and Justin would also be +1. In case you're not aware of what to do next:

Also I'd like to say it's nice to see you around Fedora again! We met at the Design FAD a couple years back, and look forward to working with you again.
