- ACTION: stickster email bexelbie et al. to ask about Sched.org population (stickster, 21:54:20)
To make this more public, I expect sched to go live next week. I don't know that many, if any sessions will relate to non-contributors. If Magazine publishes about attending Flock, please emphasize that it is a contributor focused conference so people do not get the wrong impression.
regards,
bex

Totally agreed on the focus.
This item actually is in a different context though -- we on the Magazine staff are trying to map out sessions whose proceedings we want to expand into coverage articles. In other words, while the conference is contributor-driven, sessions will concern things that impact users. We want to cover outcomes of those sessions in the Magazine so the end-user community gets advance notice of cool things happening in the project.
Examples might be availability of new Fedora editions, or changes in production schedule. Counter-examples would be our release/build tools, or community organizational changes.
