Greetings, I'm Clark and would like to contribute to Fedora Magazine. I'm currently an Architect in Red Hat's Consulting organization and I help companies implement OpenShift, Ansible, and other Red Hat technologies into their business. I've used Linux for a long time (Red Hat Linux 5.0, so late 90's), as well as a lot of other UNIX systems. I keep a personal blog at https://blog.deadvax.net/ if you care to see samples of my unedited work. I have two questions for the group that aren't clear from: 1. Is it possible to re-publish a post from my personal blog? Of course, going through the pitch and review cycle to ensure it's appropriate for Fedora Magazine. 2. If there is a pitch in UNASSIGNED state, can anyone pick that up? Is the procedure just to drop a note to the list? [0] Thanks, -CFH [0] This may seem like a dumb question, but it's not clear from this page: https://fedoramagazine.org/writing-an-article-for-the-fedora-magazine/

Hi Clark and welcome and the Magazine list.
I've used Linux for a long time (Red Hat Linux 5.0, so late 90's), as well as a lot of other UNIX systems. I keep a personal blog at https://blog.deadvax.net/ if you care to see samples of my unedited work. I have two questions for the group that aren't clear from:
- Is it possible to re-publish a post from my personal blog? Of
course, going through the pitch and review cycle to ensure it's appropriate for Fedora Magazine.
Yes we have done that in the past, the post might have to be edited to follow the Magazine style.
- If there is a pitch in UNASSIGNED state, can anyone pick that
up? Is the procedure just to drop a note to the list? [0]
Yes these are our pre approved pitches, you can drop an email on the mailing list to signal your interest in one of them or come to our weekly meeting (https://apps.fedoraproject.org/calendar/meeting/9224/)
Hope that helps Clément
