Problem solved

I asked a question here, a few days back, to get recommendations on 
screencasters. Unfortunately nothing worked for me. I ask at Ask Fedora 
and got the explanation of the problem root and a solution. The link 
below is to the Ask Fedora thread in case anyone here is in need of a 
screen caster that does both audio and video and works well with F31 and 
Wayland.

I wonder if it would make sense to write an updated article about recording
the screen on Fedora.

Might I boldly suggest Cockpit module for session recording (it only
covers a limited scope as it's useful for commandline only based recording
needs): https://github.com/Scribery/cockpit-session-recording

It's an optional Cockpit module available on RHEL8 (
https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/getting-started-session-recording-red-hat-ent...),
I'm quite sure it's available on Fedora 31 while Fedora 30 & 29 might not
be covered but available through manual builds.

Since that article only covers the Gnome builtin screencaster which does 
not have audio. I would say yes; another article on screencasting would 
be good.

From what I can see so far ffmpeg and gstreamer are being replaced, at 
least for video, by pipewire. The only gui based screencaster I could 
find that uses pipewire is the flatpack version of OBS Studio. OBS 
Studio seems to be quite comprehensive

I won't be starting my demo video project for a few months yet. Now I 
can only get it installed and use it to make a file base screencast. At 
about mid 2020 after I've made a couple videos I will likely know enough 
about it to write an article. Given that, I'll wait on proposing an 
article. Perhaps before then someone else will the article.
