Seeing as we have no idea which packages will be compliant or how long
it'll take or what the Fedora Workstation working group might do to add
encoding capabilities just referring to a future follow up is probably the
best idea.

Short and sweet. :) This should be a pretty hot topic. Do we have
anywhere that we can point users to if they want to keep up with any
updates or see when the encoding software lands into a repository people
can use? I'm not sure if the devel list is the best place to point
people to?
Alternatively, we could just mention that more updates will come via the
Magazine, and we can do another quick one once they actually make it
into the repositories.
