As per what have been discussed on yesterday:
1) We are going to do a cafe meet up on a biweekly basis. Agenda for
these meetups can be discussions, knowledge sharing, meetings, event
organizing, or just plain chat over some drinks. Objectives of the
biweekly meetup is to provide an informal platform to break the ice
between newcomers and existing contributors, and allow community to
grow naturally.
2) On a quarterly basis, starting from 2016 (or maybe this quarter),
we may organize talks where there are speakers speaking on specific
topics. We have yet to decide on what are the topics Fedora. My will be
focusing on, as that requires a discussion on our core goals first.
3) There are some idea raised by Gurdip on running activities such as
Fedora Test Day, and also Fedora Release Party. Lets see how this can
be executed. IMO, release parties can have talks on new features on
Fedora, and Test Day will be a workshop on installing Alpha / Beta /
Rawhide releases and identify any bugs on the softwares bundled in
Fedora. This should fit well with our quarterly plan where quarter 2 &
quarter 4 would have release parties, and quarter 1 and quarter 3 can
be Test Days. We will, of course, need a hall environment for release
events, and a lab environment for test days.
