FUDcon Feedback
by Steven Garrity
I was at FUDcon1 and found it to be a pretty good event. I did have a
suggestion though.
I would have liked to see a session or two on some of the user-interface
and visual design issues being worked on in Fedora.
It was touched on a bit in Owen's X talk, but I get the impression that
there is good work being done with respect to the visual aspect of the
interface (Diana, Seth, etc.). Is there any theme work being done? Will
Bluecurve work continue? Is the theme work stalled until the new X stuff
comes along? Etc.
Thanks for the good (and free!) conference. Consider this a suggestion
for FUDcon2 rather than a critique of FUDcon1.
Thanks again,
Steven Garrity

FUDCon Streams
by pyroCPU
Hello,
I would like to know if there's going to be any streams available of
FUDCon. I won't be able to attend this years conference but am still
interested in keeping up with the events and information released there,
so I'd like to know if anyone is going to be streaming the video live or
uploading videos.
Thanks,
Michael

FUDpub?
by Paul Stauffer
I don't see any mention on the wiki about post-conference activities. Seeing
as it's Friday evening, I believe adjourning to a pub might be in order. :)
Unless anyone else is already organizing something, I'll volunteer myself.
Do we have a rough guess at the number of attendees?

FUDcon1
by Mike Carifio
Is there an online way to confirm registration for Friday? I think I
registered sometime in
January. I don't want to make the two hour drive from Portland ME unless
I know they'll
be a spot for me. Please advise at your earliest convenience. Thanks.

fudcon registration
by Patrick Paul
I don't know if I'm just having a brain cramp or not, but I was on the
fudcon page looking at times for this Friday's event, and I see
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
On January 13 I subscribed to this list, and maybe I assumed that doing
so was the end-all-be-all. But I don't specifically remember
registering. Perhaps at that date registration was not yet open? I may
have registered, but since I don't have an email confirming this, I may
have not.
Am I up the creek?

Contacted all the speakers?
by Colin Charles
Jack,
Just a headsup, we have contacted _all_ the speakers for FUDCon, and
also have told them they need papers around by Monday, Valentine's Day,
right?
Well, I'm sure I'd be late re the paper ;-)
Thanks

FUDCon Ride Board?
by Toshio Kuratomi
Where should people ask about getting carpooling to FUDCon? Seems like
this list is more for organizing the event then people needing to figure
out how to/whether to attend.

PS If anyone's driving down from Montreal or Vermont.... :-)

Thursday night?
by Toshio Kuratomi
Hey -- Is there any more info on what's happening Thursday night before
FUDCon? I'm trying to make it down but need to figure out what time I'd
need to arrive by.
