1) Should we get reporters to stop calling it "Red Hat Fedora"?
2) The article claims Fedora 8 has more users than Fedora 9 and Fedora
10. Should we look into this?
"Red Hat's Fedora Linux 10 has been out since the end of November 2008,
and is now hovering around the 1 million installations mark. Fedora uses
a system to measure active installations that check the update
repositories in order to determine how many installations are in use."

"Among the many new features for Fedora 11, a newly added one is Nouveau
becoming the default driver for Nvidia cards in Rawhide. Nouveau is an
effort to create a completely free and open source 3D driver for Nvidia
cards. Fedora 7 originally included this driver installed but not
enabled by default. Red Hat recently hired Ben Skeggs, one of the
primary Nouveau developers and Nouveau driver has been accepted by the
Fedora Engineering team to be the default driver for Nvidia cards with
the legacy nv driver as a fallback option. Nouvaeu already supports more
chipsets, RANR 1.1 support, Accelerated XRENDER, Textured Video support
for many cards that are not covered by the nv driver which has been
hampered by a lot of obfuscated code as well. Phoronix has other details."
I just wanted to point you out that Max's talk at the FOSDEM have been
recorded ans is available here:
The only problem is that the file is around 1.7Go so maybe it could be
compressed a bit more so that Totem could read it a bit more easily :)
Have a nice day/afternoon/evening/night,
Let the discussion commence...
It's really important for us to be organized now with this new setup and
to rally around the meetings. If a different time is better and will
enable more people to not miss out, then let's figure out when that is
so that we can have the meeting at that time next week...
I started cleaning up and renaming the wiki pages in the Marketing
section, but I have some questions...
1) Is someone responsible for updating
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Marketing_contributors ? Couldn't we pull
this list automatically from FAS somehow?
2) Do we still need this page or can it be archived?
In a more general sense, how do we manage old pages? I flagged a
duplicate page for deletion, but for other pages, do we create an
"Archive" section and rename the pages to "Marketing archive pagename"?

if you agree I've prepared a official answer for the Inactive
Ambassadors discussion. Before sending this one, I want to know if I
could send it, because you had the lead on this one.
I don't want to take your task, but I had time and I was thinking to
not overtask you.
